The project examines the role of Indigenous cancer survivors in improving cancer awareness and outcomes for Indigenous cancer patients. The methodology will include qualitative and quantitative methods. The project will conduct in-depth research with male cancer survivor individuals and groups around Australia through the processes of interviews, questionnaires and observations to examine approaches used, resources available and explore case studies of cancer survivor activities. It will utilise and extend on the objectives of Discovering Indigenous Strategies to improve Cancer Outcomes Via Engagement, Research Translation and Training (DISCOVER-TT).
