Pemulwuy Plaque unveiling at National Museum of Australia – speech by Russell Taylor

The life of Aboriginal warrior Pemulwuy was commemorated at the National Museum of Australia (NMA) as part of its Defining Moments project, which explores key dates that have defined the country's history over more than 50,000 years.

AIATSIS Principal Russell Taylor was invited to speak at the unveiling of a plaque in the NMA Main Hall, commemorating Pemulwuy’s campaign of resistance.
