Christen worked collaboratively with Warumungu people to establish a digital archive of Warumungu history and culture, and contributed to the development of the Nyinkka Nyunyu Art and Culture Centre.

To most visitors and locals, Darwin is a vibrant, tropical city in the Top End. Although not always obvious to visitors, Darwin is also a living Aboriginal cultural landscape. Aboriginal Darwin peels back layers to show the rich heritage and complex cultures of Aboriginal people, both before and since colonisation.

This recording includes the singing of the Brolga corroboree, alternating with other songs and surrounding camp sounds. It also includes a demonstration of the Eastern Arnhem Land style of didjeridu playing.

Includes songs from Milingimbi, Yirrkala and Groote Eylandt, showing some intricate didjeridu accompaniments.

These recordings include excerpts from corroboree songs from Western Arnhem Land including didjeridu accompaniments.

These recordings contain mortuary singing and children's songs, including a song played by an eleven-year-old didjeridu player. Also featured is the song 'Comic', based on cartoons shown during the Second World War.
